An APA citation for a print book contains the following:

Author’s Name (Last name, Initials). (Year). Title of work. Edition statement. Publisher.

Example:

Ondaatje, M. (1993). The English patient: A novel (1st Vintage International ed.). Vintage Books.

 

An APA citation for an article on the internet (not from a library database) contains the following:

Author’s last name, first initial. (Date). Title of article. Title of Website. Date accessed, URL.

Example: 

Kendrick, J. (2022, January 6). 5 'green' cooking habits that are easy to adopt in your kitchen right now. HuffPost.

            Retrieved January 6, 2022, from  https://www.huffpost.com/entry/green-cooking-habits-
