From the All Subjects drop-down menu, select the subject that is most closely related to your topic.
Read the descriptions of the databases and select one. NOTE: If you are accessing the databases from off campus, you will be asked to enter myMCC username and password.
For the database you selected, a basic search screen should appear. Enter keywords into the search box and click enter. It should retrieve a list of sources related to your topic. Most databases allow you to limit your results to just full text and scholarly peer reviewed articles.
Be sure to look at the General/Multidisciplinary databases. These resources provide relevant materials on a wide variety of topics.
Our Research Guides can also help you with your research. We maintain guides for each discipline taught at MCC. Our guides contains lists of suggested databases to use for that topic, as well as a variety of other sources.
