  1. From the library website, select Academic Sources, then select A to Z Databases.
  2. From the All Subjects drop-down menu, select the subject that is most closely related to your topic.
  3. Read the descriptions of the databases and select one. 
    NOTE: If you are accessing the databases from off campus, you will be asked to enter myMCC username and password.
  4. For the database you selected, a basic search screen should appear. Enter keywords into the search box and click enter. It should retrieve a list of sources related to your topic. Most databases allow you to limit your results to just full text and scholarly peer reviewed articles.

Be sure to look at the General/Multidisciplinary databases. These resources provide relevant materials on a wide variety of topics.

Many databases, like Opposing Viewpoints, contain lists of issues or subjects that can also be helpful.
