A good databases to use that covers current issues is Opposing ViewpointsAcademic Search Complete.is another popular database for general research. 

To access the library's databases:

  1. Go to the library's website.
  2. Select Academic Sources, then select A to Z Databases.
  3. Select the database you want to use from the alphabetical list. (If you are working off campus, you will have to enter your myMCC username and password).

You can also consult the ProCon.org database to view various viewpoints on current topics.
