Search MCC's catalog first then try searching All I-Share Libraries by selecting that option from the drop-down menu in the search box. If the item appears in the list, click on "Check for available services." You can request the item by clicking on "Get it from other institutions." You must be logged in with your MCC username and password in order to request titles from other I-Share libraries. Click on the right arrow in the "how to get it area." Scroll to the bottom of the request form and click on "Send request." You will receive an email when the item is available in the MCC Library for pickup. You must be an enrolled MCC student in order to borrow items from other I-Share libraries.

If you don't see what you need in our shared library system, you can request an Interlibrary Loan.

You can also start a live chat with a Librarian. Be sure to have the details of the item you need, as well as your MCC library card number. For article requests, please provide as much information as possible so we request exactly the title you need (i.e., article title, author, journal, issue/volume, page numbers, and date).

You can also send an email with detailed item information to ask@mchenry.libanswers.com or call us at (815) 455-8762.
